Sweet Deal on Model No. 17

Lucked up and purchased this poor ole guy from E-bay for only $9.  He was inexpensive because he had been stripped of his hair.  Nowadays Model 17s are rare at any price point so I jumped on him in a hurry!  This is how he was dress when he arrived.  Poor lil ole ragamuffin!

Don't you all wish that this doll or some variation of him could be released again!

Here he is with another Model 17.  I made his locs by twisting a very course grade of Kanekalon hair and running it through a flat iron set on medium heat to bind it.  You can use the pre-made locs as well but you may have to split them first.  The packs of hair can purchased from any local Beauty Supply store.  It’s usually very inexpensive (less than $5) and a pack will last a long time if you’re using it for your dolls.
